Historical things on Lumbini
Birth place of Buddha - Lumbini, Nepal, In ancient period Lumbini used be a kingdom which is ruled by suddhodana - (known as father of Gautam Buddha) Lumbini is famous for birthplace of buddha but Lumbini is also famous for it's historical things and stories. The historical things are given below -:
The Eternal peace lamp :
The lamp is sign of integrate peace and harmony among the global community. The flame was brought from UN(New York, U.S.A). The eternal lamp was set aflame on November 1,1986 By then his royal highness Prince Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev to commemorate the international peace .

The Ashoka stambh :
Ancient king Ashoka with his army came to Nepal to visit born place of buddha and built a stambh with the horse in top, However due to disasters horse is broken but its ruins is safely on the sites.

Mayadevi Temple :
There are many more temple on the site but historical temple is Maya Devi where Buddha was born. Comparing other temple Maya Devi Temple is not so Designed and as not so Attractive then other Temple on the site. The reasons is simple the temple is connect with history and historical things should be preserves not be human made to make it's important and historical so that's a reasons why Maya Devi Temple is not so attractive then other. In other hand temple is beautiful we can feel different vibes inside the temple .Temple carries historical importance's in it.
